Kristan Weisdack is the Founder and CEO of BehaviorWorx of Southwestern PA.
She is a passionate educator, having personal and professional experience working with individuals with special needs across the life span. Over the last 16 years, she has worked in the mental health field, specializing in autism and behavior intervention. Kristan's personal and professional experience has helped her understand that causes of behavior are often rooted in nutrition, allergies, undetected vision issues, and problems that occur early on in life. She trains and consults with professionals working with children aged 0-12 to understand and treat the problems underlying behavior rather than the symptoms.
At her clinic, BehaviorWorx Center for Autism & Behavior, she helps parents with children ages 3-12 who have autism and behavioral issues. She applies the same holistic approach to behavior to help children and families overcome obstacles and gain the necessary skills to thrive.
She has worked with service coordinators, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech and language pathologists, nutritionists, behaviorists, teachers, and many other mental and behavioral health professionals to shift their practice to a holistic approach.
Kristan is a licensed behavior specialist, certified infant massage instructor, certified integrative mental health provider, and a licensed Brain Gym movement facilitator.
